Last updated · May 11, 2026
By using GenerateQR you agree to these terms. They're short, written in plain English, and apply to anyone who visits or uses the service.
The service
GenerateQR is a free QR code generator and public REST API provided as-is, without warranty. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uptime, performance, or scan compatibility on every device.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use GenerateQR to generate codes that:
- Direct users to malware, phishing, or fraudulent destinations
- Violate any law or third-party right
- Attempt to overwhelm the service through automated abuse beyond the published rate limits
Your content
You retain ownership of every URL, logo, and piece of data you put into the editor. We don't claim any rights over your content, and we don't store it on our servers — it lives in your browser.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GenerateQR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
